Ramona and Beezus is, of course, based on the popular books by Beverly Cleary about a pair of sisters who get into all sorts of mischief and adventures. The film also stars Sex and the City 2 actor John Corbett.

Selena Gomez plays big sister Beezus, while 10-year-old actress Joey King plays little sister Ramona.

On the evening of July 22, Selena Gomez was treated to a gigantic birthday cupcake backstage before her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Reportedly, Selena Gomez's family has a huge BBQ bash planned to help the Disney star celebrate her big day.

In attendance will be her on-screen little sister, Joey King, with whom Selena Gomez has formed a tight bond. Selena Gomez and Joey King raved that they've become like sisters in real life.
