Chris Klein charged with DUI

Chris Klein, the American Pie star, was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol after having been "observed weaving" through lanes on a Hollywood freeway.

TMZ reported the incident took place at 3:13 am. After failing a sobriety test, Klein was immediately taken into custody.

According to the Associated Press, Chris Klein, 31, was booked and released on his own recognizance.

This is not Chris Klein's first brush with the law.

Katie Holmes' former fiance was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI back in 2005.

Klein managed to produce a blood-alcohol level of .20, exceeding California's .08 limit.

Hopefully Klein will get his act together.
