New Moon: No Surprises!

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the Twilight nation once again ruled the MTV Movie Awards as teens worldwide cast their votes for the Twilight sequel, New Moon. New Moon's win as Best Movie is not really a surprise -- who can really compete with Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart?

The supernatural trio dominated the night, by winning multiple awards including Best Male and Best Female performance for Stewart and Pattinson, and presenting a new clip for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Host Aziz Ansari did not disappoint with his jokes about The Blind Side, Precious, and Twilight, to name a few. He had some great observations on the 3D wave Hollywood is obsessed with lately.

Aziz Ansari's sketches also scored, particularly his bit about the swagger coach! His portrayal of R Kelly crooning about Avatar was hilarious.

At the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Les Grossman (Tom Cruise's character from Tropic Thunder) took "charge" as executive producer of the night and did some outstanding dancing with Jennifer Lopez.

Grossman (Tom Cruise), honestly stole the show in full movie producer mode, screaming and yelling his way through the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

Early in the show, Cruise's Grossman pitched a movie, Bad Ass Cops, to the eye candy of the night Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, and also had his butt kicked by Jaden Smith.

Sandra Bullock was presented with the Generation Award by Scarlett Johansson, Betty White and Bradley Cooper. The retrospective of her career was an emotionally charged set of scenes from Sandra Bullock's best. What was also inspiring was the reaction of the crowd as Bullock took to the stage to accept her award. The entire Gibson Theatre crowd took to their feet and welcomed the star after the Jesse James scandal had haunted her world for the past few months.

Sandra Bullock also graciously reminded us to send out prayers to people of the Gulf Coast after sharing a kiss with Scarlett Johansson!

There were outstanding performances first by Katy Perry (with blue hair and a candy-colored set) and Snoop Dogg with California Gurls. Later, Christina Aguilera performed a medley of her music finishing with an interesting light-up heart placed in a strategic area!
