The name of the nightclub hostess first hit the press after Tiger's Thanksgiving car crash, which came after a fight allegedly caused by Tiger receiving sexy texts from Rachel. Uchitel was supposed to make a statement about her role in the Tiger scandal, but the press conference was cancelled at the last minute. The cause? We're hearing Tiger paid her a cool $10 million to keep her mouth shut.
Uchitel has also been linked to Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Seacrest.
After David Boreanaz of Bones admitted his infidelities to People, rumors swirled that Rachel was the woman trying to get a payout from him -- after all, it had been rumored that she was one of his flings, too. Uchitel swiftly had her lawyer Gloria Allred (who happens to rep several of Tiger's other mistresses, plus the woman Boreanaz claims was trying to extort him) issue this statement on her behalf:
"David Boreanaz is not part of my life, nor will he be. I am not in communication with him and do not wish to be. I have made no claims against him and do not plan to assert any. Any statements to the contrary are false and I hope that this statement will finally end any speculation about this issue. I am looking forward to a life that is not filled with scandal, rumor, innuendo or false statements about me. I will not have any further comment regarding David Boreanaz."
That "no further comment" thing lasted a whopping eight days. Since then she has released text messages between her and David -- she says in retaliation for those he released portraying her as a shrew -- and given a 45-minute interview with TMZ about her relationship with the actor.
But she still won't talk about Tiger. Bet that $10 million paycheck has something to do with it.
Hey, it's a living.
