Tiki Barber and Traci Lynn Johnson: Celebrity cheating again?

"After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate," Barber said in a statement yesterday. "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known."

That sounds nice enough, but the sentiment doesn't carry much weight if it's true the self-proclaimed family man was cheating on Ginny, who is now eight-month pregnant with twins.

Back in 2006, Barber claimed his retirement from the Giants was for the sake of the missus and their sons, AJ, 7, and Chason, 6; as well as a desire to expand into other fields. He quickly moved on to the role of sportscaster for NBC and penned Tiki: My Life and the Game Beyond and Tiki Barber's Pure Hard Workout.

It seems, however, that he never stopped playing the proverbial field and he's now been linked to Traci Lynn Johnson, a young, blonde and adorable former NBC intern.

The cutie played assistant to Barber when he blogged from the Olympics and also traveled to Africa with him six months ago. More recently, she landed a seat next to him when he hosted a Travel Channel documentary screening. She's also posted a pic of herself sporting a Giants jersey with Barber's number on her MySpace page.

With no one involved in the scandal speaking to it, yet, Johnson could in fact just be Barber's loyal assistant.

Several outlets, however, are citing unnamed sources that corroborate the affair and some even say Ginny knew about it. Word is Barber moved out of their Upper East Side home late last year after Ginny found out.

This is all the more upsetting, considering Barber's very public stance on his own parent's breakup and his father's cheating ways.

"I don't give a [expletive] that the relationship didn't work," he told the New York Post in 2004. "Not only did he abandon her, I felt like he abandoned us for a lot of our lives. I have a hard time forgiving that."

Barber should have a bit more perspective on that comment now.
