Word is, that after a six year engagement, parents Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen finally tied the knot in Paris last week.
The Brit funnyman, 38, and Aussie funnywoman, 34 agreed to get hitched back in 2006, after two years of dating, but then the big day just never came.
Some reports said the wedding was delayed by the arrival of their daughter, Olive, now 2, while others point to the two stars' busy schedules and religious issues and still others referred to "doubts" about the union.
In preparation for the big day, however, Fisher converted to Judaism a few years back, and now, apparently, the pair has finally made their union official. They had a traditional Jewish ceremony last Monday, March 15, at sunset, with just a few relatives on hand as witnesses.
"We did it -- we're married!" Isla said in an email to friends, according to the Aussie mag Woman's Day. "It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss -- just us!"
It's no surprise word hasn't come out of either camp to confirm or deny. They've both played some wild characters, but keep their private life very private.
Cohen first got attention in the States when HBO brought Da Ali G Show over from England. He's followed up with equally far out characters, including controversial Borat and Bruno, and rather than do interviews as himself, often shows up as the character of the moment. Word is his next project is Martin Scorsese's Invention of Hugo Cabret, adapted from Brian Selznick's historical novel.
Fisher was an Aussie soap star who won US fans over with a character almost wacky enough for Cohen. Who can forget the crazy sister who wins Vince Vaughn's heart in Wedding Crashers? She went on to star in Confessions of a Shopaholic and is now working on the black comedy Burke & Hare.
Assuming the buzz is true, SheKnows congratulates the pair and wishes them a happy, healthy life together.
