Will Tiger Apologize?

Tiger Woods is set to make his first public appearance since his cheating scandal broke.

Tiger Talks Friday Mark Steinberg, agent for Tiger Woods, announced the golfer will make a statement on Friday from PGA headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

"Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates," Steinberg said. "...Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he intends to apologize for his behavior."

Steinberg stressed that Tiger will not be answering any questions, and said he does not know if Tiger's badly wronged wife Elin Nordegren would be at her husband's side.

A statement on Tiger's website read, "While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss."
