Jon Bon Jovi drops by 30 Rock and that is only the beginning of the Thursday-night stars on tap to celebrate Valentine's Day. Also look for John Larroquette, Kathy Bates and Elizabeth Banks, all join NBC's Thursday comedy line-up to laugh at dysfunctional romance.
First on Community, at 8 pm, the Greendale Human Being dresses up as Cupid to hand out Valentine treats, but Troy and Pierce are left empty handed. When Senor Chang calls them out on their attempts to cover up, the girls seek revenge with a humiliating prank. Meanwhile, Jeff struggles to repair things with Britta after an unfortunate drunk dialing incident.
Then at 8:30 pm, Leslie tries to rekindle an old romance on Parks and Recreation. She and her beau Justin (Justin Theroux) decide to spread the love and track down one of her mother's (Pamela Reed) former flame, played by funnyman John Larroquette. The Pawnee gals also get together to celebrate their own special holiday, Galentines day, while Andy and his band prepare for a gig at the senior center.
The Office fans are in for a treat, with an extra set of back to back pre-wedding episodes airing at 10 and 10:30 pm. First, however, there's a new episode at 9 pm. The Scranton crew will meet their new boss, Sabre CEO Jo Bennett, played by Kathy Bates. The southern flower quickly woos them, but then drops the bombshell that the office can have only one branch manager. That will mean a demotion for either Michael or Jim. Meanwhile, Andy faces his own drama when his Valentine's Day plan backfires and Zack Woods kicks off a recurring gig as Gabe, who will watch over business the way Jan used to.
At 9:30 pm, the holiday hits the wackos at 30 Rock pretty hard. Everyone at TGS scrambles to make plans, but Jack may actually have a chance at love after he meets Hotbox host Avery Jessup (Elizabeth Banks).
"I play a CNB news reporter how has her own show, sort of like Countdown," guest star Banks previewed. "Jack is a guest on my show. We have a great repartee over the table. We ignore all the other guests. [Meanwhile], Liz Lemon, as I'm sure you can imagine, has one hell of a Valentine's Day and there are some surprising guest starts."
Jon Bon Jovi is one familiar face that pops up for a cameo on 30 Rock, but not even his mug can brighten Liz's days. She decides to hide from the holiday in the dentist's office, but a root canal isn't exactly a step up from being alone! Meanwhile, Jenna is crushed to realize she can't even keep her stalker interested.
