Vonn Update

American Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn has suffered a shin injury and may not compete in the upcoming winter Olympics.

The two-time World Cup champion injured her right shin after a fall during practice recently.

Lindsey Vonn may not ski in Vancouver

"Yeah, that's a possibility," she said when asked at a news conference on Wednesday about whether or not her injury may prevent her from competing. She adds that it's painful more than anything; there was no structural damage.

Vonn is a media favorite in five events. She recently made the SheKnows list of Top 5 Athletes to watch in Vancouver.
