The Home Alone series director Chris Columbus (a Spielberg protege) directs the ensemble cast in this high school-set romantic comedy. Almost picking up where Jennifer Love Hewitt's Can't Hardly Wait left off, I Love You Beth Cooper spends its time focused on the night of high school graduation.

Panettiere sparks in her leading lady role as the high school queen, but don't look for her Bring it On or Heroes cheerleader-type role. This cheerleader is different, we swear!

She also is only seen wearing the cheerleading outfit briefly in one scene. She is not making a habit of playing cheerleader as evidenced by our interview on the I Love You, Beth Cooper set!
