Jim Carrey is set to become a grandfather!

Jane and Jim Carrey with Jenny McCarthy speak out on autism It's hard to believe when a fresh-faced celeb announces they're a parent of an adult, let alone going to be a grand parent. Forty-seven year-old Jim Carrey joins the ranks of such company by saying his twenty-one year-old daughter, Jane, is pregnant.

Jim was quoted as saying, "I am very excited. Jane is going to be a great mom."

Jane's beau is Alex Santana and is part of a Los Angeles-based band. Their name? None other than the Jane Carrey band.

Jane and Jim Carrey are very close as she is often seen in public at autism fundraisers to support his girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy.

Jane is the daughter of Melissa Carrey -- Jim's first wife. Jim and Melissa divorced in 1995 after being married for almost 10 years. Jim Carrey was then married to actress Lauren Holly which lasted less than a year.

While Carrey is currently in a relationship with Jenny McCarthy, he has made plenty of time to line-up a slew of upcoming movies. The Canadian comedian is starring in A Christmas Carol and then will don his best Curly in The Three Stooges.

You may recall our first glimpse of the Jim Carrey way back in 1990 when he was a regular cast member on the sketch comedy show, In Living Color. The show spawned plenty of stars like Fly Girl Jennifer Lopez, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier.

As for a little known yet inspirational fact you may not know about Jim Carrey? At age 10 he applied to be on another famous sketch comedy program -- The Carol Burnett Show.
