I got a sneak peek at a summer series that I think you're going to like. It's called Make It or Break It and it's coming to ABC Family on June 22.
This teen drama about competitive gymnastics has newcomer Emily Kmetko (Chelsea Hobbs) shaking up the pecking order at a world-class gym. Lauren (Cassie Scerbo), Kaylie (Josie Loren) and Payson (Ayla Kell) are shoo-ins to take the top three spots for Nationals, that is if Lauren has her way. If she can't beat Emily fair and square, then she's happy to beat her with a few dirty tricks.
On the downside, Make It or Break It is pretty predictable and some of the acting and dialogue is downright cringe worthy. On the upside, there are characters here you'll want to spend the time with. For parents watching with their teens, there's Emily's mom who is a struggling single parent raising a wheelchair bound son and an Olympic-hopeful daughter. Trouble is, can she keep up with the gym moms who make stage moms look docile. For the teen girls, there's Zachary Abel (Check him out in the Take180 webseries My Alibi the gym's prince charming. Desperately in love with another gymnast, they have to keep their relationship under wraps or risk getting tossed off the team.
If you're a fan of gymnastics or just love a family-oriented teen drama, check out Make It or Break It on ABC Family beginning on June 22.

In this variation on a theme, Bravo is putting some of the world's best chefs on the hot seat as they compete for the title of Top Chef Master. It's one thing when Tom Colicchio tells a recent culinary school grad that he hasn't got what it takes, but what happens when he tells a 5-star chef that his vegetables are soggy? The winning chef will receive $100,000 for the charity of their choice and the series will feature a number of celebrity judges including Neil Patrick Harris and Zooey Deschanel.

Immediately after the premiere of their new series Nurse Jackie, Showtime ordered a second season of the medical drama. Don't miss our interview with its star Edie Falco here!
Comedy Central has ordered a new batch of Futurama episodes. The sci-fi cartoon went off the air in 2003 but has been kept alive with direct-to-DVD movies and reruns.
American Idol runners up Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta have both signed a record deal. But I wonder why we don't just call them CD deals nowadays.
Reminder: Friday is the deadline for all TV stations to make the digital switch. If you're still watching TV with an antenna, you may not have a signal after Friday. Visit http://www.dtv.gov/ for more information.
