Smallville: Is our history written on the day we were born? That was the question for several TV characters last night as they tried to escape their fate. Smallville's Davis Bloome and Supernatural's Sam Winchester are both headed down a dark, and dangerous road but the strength of a superhero and a brother's love might just be enough to save them.
Grey's Anatomy: Over on Grey's Anatomy, Izzie is desperately trying to escape her fate with a positive attitude and a little help from her friends. The much talked about wedding day, turned out not quite the way we thought. It wasn't Meredith and Derek getting married, it was Izzie and Alex.
We've all heard stories about how people have overcome life-threatening diseases through love and faith, so maybe Izzie's got a chance of beating this thing! Happily ever after or into the light, rumor has it that Katherine Heigl is leaving the show so I expect her story to be wrapped up one way or the other next week.
What to watch tonight:
Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is getting ready for her big wedding but she still take time out to help a girl who's being lured away by vampires. American Dreams star Gail O'Grady does Ghost Whisperer proud as its featured guest star. Don't miss our interview with Gail here!
It's the season (could be series) finale of Dollhouse and it promises to pack a punch. If you haven't watched the show at all, I wouldn't recommend jumping in on this final leg. However, if you were an early watcher who abandoned the series after a slow start, come on back tonight.
Firefly's Alan Tudyk guests as the mysterious Alpha, the "doll" with 43 people implanted in his brain. Seriously? I have enough trouble deciding what to have for lunch; I can't imagine how I'd managed so many personalities to consult.
I talked with Alan last week and here's what he had to say about the Dollhouse season finale."For Alpha, it's about fulfilling his plan. Getting Echo was the second to the last step. He's got one more thing in place before they can go on their worldwide-domination killing spree. It's about making (Echo) in his own image really. In his mind he's a god. He's ascended and he wants to bring her up to his level of multiple personality person. So it's cool, you'll see."
End your night with another great episode of Numb3rs.
Henry Winkler is back in the role of disgraced FBI agent Roger Bloom and he's Don's (Rob Morrow) prime suspect in a string of copycat bank robberies. If you've only ever seen Winkler play comedic parts, then you're in for a real treat.
ABC is giving Aisha Tyler her own show. It will be a mix of comedy and talk.
Billy Crystal, who was Jay Leno's first guest when he took over the Tonight Show, will return to the show to celebrate Leno's final week. Seems like the end of an era, doesn't it?
