Madonna falls off her horse

The pop star was galloping through the South Hampton estate of photographer pal Steven Klein when a couple of paparazzi jumped out of the bushes to get a surprise shot.

The horse became super-startled and threw Madonna, who had to be taken to a local hospital."The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend," Madonna's spokesperson says. "Madonna will be having further tests and will continue to remain under observation by doctors."This isn't the first time Madonna has had horse trouble. On her birthday in 2005 she took a nasty spill and broke her collarbone and wrist and cracked two ribs while riding at the English estate she shared with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.She later posed in her riding gear in a 58-page spread for W magazine, including her riding crop. Getting back on a horse again took a little longer, but she did it in front of a live audience for David Letterman.
