A first time experience for Adams on both accounts, she handled the obstacle course of the filmmaking process was grace and passion representative of a seasoned professional.

"I wasn't happy with the parts that were available to me. I wasn't happy with the parts that were available to actresses that I love. The Roloff family are television stars with their TLC hit, Big People, Little World. At the heart of their universe is mother Amy Roloff. She told SheKnows the keys to triumphing over life's challenges, regardless of their size.

"You'd have to go back to the first two seasons. The kids and I weren't really thrilled. In fact, we weren't interested in doing a TV show about our life. Matt saw beyond and really wanted the family to be a part of it. Not only to get the message out about little people, but just in general for people with disabilities. For us, it was an invasion of privacy. As a parent, I was more concerned about losing our space in the sense of my kids can just hang out. This farm is a place for them to just do what they want to do," Roloff says of the invasion of cameras into her home. Read on...

Nicole Ari Parker

Nicole Ari Parker

Having Martin Lawrence and Cedric the Entertainer on a comedy set, it would be difficult to get through one take without the cast breaking into laughter. For actress Nicole Ari Parker, it was a priceless lesson in comic brilliance, otherwise known as Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.

"The thing that surprised me was that the life of a comedian is almost like Russian roulette. I know artists all put stuff out there, but comics just lay their necks out there. It's about the laugh. That's the payoff. It's not a mystery, you have to be funny," Parker said. Read on...

"I think her with us is great. We don't fight about anything anyway. It's just not in any of our natures. There's no reason for bitterness or jealousy. There's nothing like that with any aspect of the band whatsoever. So, I mean, there's no Yoko syndrome, none of that. I think people want that because it's a little more fun to read. Then I did the pilot for Less Than Perfect the third year and we got picked up and ran for four years. Then I did a few pilots after that that didn't go anywhere. Then, Chuck, it's really only the second pilot I've ever done that's gotten picked up - which is crazy. It's a great one to get picked up. It's the greatest job I've ever had," Levi says. Read on...
