Not such a phenom like American Idol was the 3-D Chuck. I tried to watch it last night but it gave me a headache five minutes in as suspected. Pretty cool, though. But I'm glad it wasn't one of my favorite shows because I'd have been annoyed if I had to miss it.
Next up was 24 and I know I swore I wasn't going to watch this anymore but I changed my mind. First off, I'm a sucker for a disaster movie so when the chemical planet was about to implode, I was hooked. Second, I'm pleasantly surprised by how quickly they solved the firewall breech problem and switched gears to plan 'B.' So, I'm back on board and wondering about Tony -- I think there was a deeper reason why he didn't want to go with Jack. Maybe he's a double, double, double agent? Or would that make him a quadruple agent?
Other than that, I spent my evening watching a DVD. Dark Shadows: The Beginning Vol 6, which are the episodes that lead right up to the first appearance of Barnabas Collins. It gave me a little chill, or maybe a thrill, to see Jonathan Frid strike that first pose. Little did they know then that they were on the first step to becoming a phenomenon.
