Affleck Baby Girl

Jennifer Garner has given birth to a baby girl. Garner and husband Ben Affleck have added another daughter to their family.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck on their way Garner gave birth to the couple's second child Tuesday in Los Angeles, confirms a rep for the couple. Both mother and baby are healthy.

Sources spotted a smiling Garner being wheeled in a hospital bed on her way to her room, holding what looked like a bundled baby, with a blanket draped over her.

Hospital staff followed shortly with a portable bassinet and heart monitor to keep close tabs on Garner's new baby's condition.

The baby's name has not yet been released.

Garner did not publicly announce her pregnancy until August, when she joked with Access Hollywood, "Oh, I'm not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just -- what do they call it -- a breakfast pouch?"

She then added, "We're so excited, obviously."

Garner and Affleck, both 36, welcomed their first daughter Violet in 2005. The couple was vocal about wanting another child.

"We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another," she told Marie Claire UK in 2007.

"Hopefully, knock on wood, someday."
