Unlike LeBoeuf, however, Stiller wasn't drunk when he did it.
Stiller was snowboarding the weekend before Christmas and required a trip to the hospital after a downhill tangle left his hand mangled.
"I can confirm he broke his hand snowboarding," publicist Kelly Bush says.
Stiller, 43, was admitted to New York's Mount Sinai Hospital, where a top hand specialist was called in to treat the fracture. Stiller should be well on the mend this spring when it's time to promote his next flick, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
Stiller is also rumored to replace Mark Ruffalo in the dramedy Greenburg.
Ruffalo dropped out after the death of his brother in early December.
While plot details are very hush-hush, the story is expected to be relationship-driven, like the other works of director Noah Baumbach.
