Hilary Duff has come into her own with news of a development deal with NBC.

Hilary's getting busy with NBC

The Lizzie McGuire star signed a talent and development deal with the network with plans to develop her own series. In the meantime, the network said, Duff will guest star on several other NBC series throughout the next year.

Duff has kept herself busy since ending her hit Disney show. In addition to her albums, she recently co-starred with John Cusack in the film War, Incand has three other films due for release next year.

The next step for the actress?

Meeting with writers and looking over the network's series development schedule before committing to her star vehicle.
