Fey's Finally Rocking
30 Rock finally returns tonight after Tina Fey's Emmy victory in September, her priceless Sarah Palin impersonations on SNL, and now she's ready to illuminate fall TV with her signature sitcom.
I don't know what happened on KTLA last night, my CW affiliate station, but I never saw America's Next Top Model and Stylista. They were listed as being bumped to 11:00 thanks to a basketball game, but at 11:00, Friends popped up instead. Grrr. I don't like missing my shows, particularly for sporting events!
What I did watch was the first part of the two part finale of Top Design. The remaining four contestants had to make-over one room in a townhouse as an example of how they would decorate the whole house. Nathan almost did himself in by shying away from his usual bold style in an effort to show the judges that he could be traditional as well. Not a good choice but still he squeaked through along with Preston and Ondine as the final three. Eddie ended his chances with yet another Martha Stewart-inspired room and when he showed up at panel in that tweed suit and bowtie - it was time to go! I like this final three and I'm still 100 percent behind Nathan.
The biggest perk of my night was getting a sneak peak at the new TNT series Leverage. Wow, it's Mission Impossible meets The A-Teamand I loved every second of it. Clever, witty, action-packed. This is going on my hit list and I'll tell you more about it closer to the premiere.
In the meantime...
