David Duchovny and Tea Leoni separate

In a not-so-shocking announcement, actors David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have announced their separation just weeks after he left rehab for sex addiction.

The couple just last week in Malibu The couple announced the split in this joint statement:

"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."

Duchovny and Leoni were most recently seen together at a Czech festival in NYC last week smiling for a camera.

Duchovny and Leoni have been married for ten years and have two children. Duchovny currently stars in the cable hit Californication, while Leoni most recently appeared in the flick Ghost Town.
