Sharon Stone loses custody of son

Actress Sharon Stone is in a state of shock today after a California judge gave full physical custody of her son Roan to her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein.

Sharon Stone has lost custody of son Roan to her ex-husband Stone lost joint custody to newspaper editor Phil Bronstein despite pleas to the courts to change the agreement.

According to September 12 court documents, Bronstein "shall have permanent sole physical custody of child. Court finds that Respondent (Sharon Stone) failed to meet her burden of proof and denies Respondent's (Sharon Stone's) request for modification of custody."

The judge also stated this is a permanent decision unless there is a change of circumstances. What is not being released is what exactly the circumstances are that caused Stone to lose custody in the first place.

Stone adopted two other boys, Laird Vonne Stone and Quinn Kelly, after her marriage to Bronstein ended.
