The Coen's premiered their Burn After Reading at the festival that stars Brad Pitt, George Clooney and a Coen-in-law, Frances McDormand.
The Venice Film Festival kicked off in high style by featuring a film starring two of the world's biggest stars. Not to mention this is the follow up to No Country for Old Men, which earned the brothers a Best Picture and Best Director statues.
In typical Coen fashion, Burn After Reading follows two idiotic hapless gym employees who come into the writings of an ex-CIA operative (John Malkovich) and try to sell them as state secrets. The duo get over the head and thrills and hilarity is sure to ensue knowing the brothers Coen.
The Venice Film Festival is no stranger to the Pitt-Clooney tandem. They have featured their Ocean's series there for all three pictures.
