The comedic couple put to rest their five year relationship that many thought was comic heaven.
Kimmel has been hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to enormous success while Silverman's manic comic timing has been on display in many arenas from hosting the MTV Movie Awards the day Paris Hilton went to jail to her own Comedy Central show, a classic and aptly titled, "The Sarah Silverman Program."
Both Silverman and Kimmel will be busy and can easily forget their romantic woes.
Perhaps that was the problem, the entertainment couple found themselves on the often traveled rollercoaster. Hollywood couple hits all the right notes, then hits the big time in their respective careers, and for a while, it goes great. But then, reality sets in and both realize each values their success more than each other. I'm not Dr. Ruth, but, after reporting on Hollywood for years now, this a tale often told.
We at SheKnows wish them both luck, they are each, in their own way, fabulous!
If nothing else, their dueling duets with Boston's favorite boys, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, were priceless television comedy.
RIP Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman.
