Matthew McConaughey is a dad!

The baby was born at 6:22 pm, weighing in at seven pounds, four ounces.

"We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life," Matthew blogged back in January when announcing the pregnancy.

So what's the little one's name? That has not yet been released.

But keep in mind that Matthew has an older brother named Rooster who named his own son Miller Lyte.

Can you just picture Matthew and his boy? Teaching him surfing, the love of University of Texas football amongst other endeavors.

Now you can picture his boy grown up? Here's betting that apple does not fall far from the tree.
