Salacious details of Cook's affair with a teen toy store employee were shared, as well as information on his internet porn addiction and mistreatment of stepdaughter Alexa Ray Joel, Brinkley's child with second husband Billy Joel.
Diana Bianchi, who was 18 at the time the affair started, testified that she and Cook had sex approximately ten times in his office, after he hired her to work for his architectural firm, and in Brinkley's residences in the Hamptons.
Bianchi also stated Cook gave her large sums of money and would hide them outdoors or behind paintings, including $15,000 for a Nissan Maxima.
"He had shown interest in me, and I reciprocated. He asked me how I would feel if he told me he was attracted to me," she said. "I wasn't taken aback, but I wasn't really against it."
Cook later paid Bianchi $300,000 to keep quiet about the affair.
Alexa Ray Joel contends that Cook mistreated her frequently after he and Brinkley were married. He chastised her for chewing too loud and in one incident shoved her head in a bucket when her long shower caused a leak.
Cook had admitted to spending around $3000 a month on internet porn, but contends it was used to enhance his relationship with Brinkley and that the couple used it as a precursor to sex for the last half of their marriage.
The case mainly revolved around custody of the couple's two children, Jack and Sailor, and the few pieces of property not covered by their prenuptial agreement.
Cook's lawyer places the blame squarely on Brinkley's shoulders. "For goodness sake: She's on her fourth husband," Norman Sheresky told the court. "Your honor, we're here because of the self-indulgent wrath of a woman scorned."
