Nashville Star premieres, more Bachelorette

Cynthia is at the top of her game as the Television Blogger here at SheKnows. Don't touch that dial!

Bonus bachelorette

Lots of laughs and country music takes center stage, but they'll have a tough time next to a double dose of "Bachelorette."

Bonus bacheloretteLast night "The Next Food Network Star" took a turn with one contestant walking out in a huff, only to be let back in to the competition and one of the previous week's bottom two, moved up into the winner's circle. Did you miss it?  can for a rerun on The Food Network, it's a fun show.

I also spent part of my weekend viewing clearing off episodes of "Dawson's Creek" recorded from The N and the original "Iron Chef" from Fine Living. Two guilty pleasures that totally satisfy at the end of a long day.

Now, on to tonight!

Tonight on TV

ABC should take the night with two hours of "The Bachelorette" followed by "The Mole."

CBS has a treat, an episode of "The Bill Engvall Show" from TBS. Very funny stuff. That's followed by reruns of "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men," "Rules of Engagement," and "CSI: Miami."

The CW tries hard with reruns of "Gossip Girl" and "One Tree Hill."

FOX goes with "Bones" and "House" reruns. (See CBS, short names work just fine.)

And NBC comes on strong with "American Gladiators" followed by the premiere of "Nashville Star."

Over on cable

"Greek" is new on ABC Family. Food Network has three new shows tonight as does HGTV. TLC has two new episodes of "Master of Dance," and it's "Party Heat" on TruTV.

Best bet, "Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods" ramps up with the girls moving into the house to begin the process on MTV at 10:00.

News and notable

"Joan of Arcadia" star Amber Tamblyn has signed on to play the female lead in the ABC drama "The Unusuals."

USA Weekly is reporting that "The Hills" star Whitney will get her own spin-off series.

You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em. . . rumor has it that GSN may pass on more seasons of their top rated poker shows. Not the darling it used to be . . .

Maureen McCormick, Bobby Brown and Carnie Wilson will be running an inn for a new reality series on CMT.
