"Project Runway" designers are always being told to make bold statements, be fierce and take big chances. Looks like the show is taking its own advice.
According to Variety, "Project Runway" is leaving Bravo, where it has been one of the highest rated shows for the network, in favor of Lifetime!
Producer, The Weinstein Co., has signed a five-year deal with the female-centric network and NBC owned Bravo is not happy. They're planning to sue the producers for breeching their contract but it sounds like they don't have a high-heel to stand on.
You know what they say, Bravo -- "If you're not 'in', you're 'out'!"
"Project Runway" will begin airing on Lifetime in the Fall of 2008.
