Beyonce and Jay Z getting married!

The State of New York is saying that a pair with those names have applied for a wedding license April 1 (no fooling).

Because the license is good for 60 days, let the countdown to music's biggest wedding begin.

The 26-year-old singer has been with the 38 year-old rapper/mogul since they met in 2002 working on her record "Crazy in Love." They have been together ever since.

Honestly, they are the one cute couple!

Since Jay-Z is currently on tour with Mary J. Blige, the wedding most likely will be in May when that concludes - a spring wedding in the Hamptons perhaps?

Since their relationship hit the one-year mark, rumors have constantly swirled that the pair would marry. With each public appearance without a ring, some began to wonder. But Beyonce knew that her man was loyal and it was only a matter of time. He's Jay-Z! Between running a record label, a clothing line, a music career and touring, there have been other demands.

Jay-Z is now, it appears, ready to take a break for a few and marry his "Bootylicious" sweetheart.
