Patrick Swayze projects will continue despite cancer

Patrick Swayze is appearing in the A&E pilot "The Beast" with the actor portraying a FBI agent. If the show is picked up, Swayze insists he will report for work no matter what health issues he must deal with throughout his week. The actor has been receiving treatment already and has said he looks forward to serving as a face for generating attention to the ailment in hopes of somebody finding a cure. ""Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," Swayze's physician Dr. George Fisher said in a statement released by the actor's publicist. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic." Good news, indeed.
