No one puts the Queen in the corner

Watching the Grammys Sunday there were numerous moments worth a replay. Who knew Beyonce's use of a millennia-old moniker would ignite a fire?

The Queen of Soul, as Aretha Franklin is widely known, is a little miffed at Beyonce's referring to her Grammy night singing partner Tina Turner as 'The Queen.'

The former Destiny Child lead singer has never been in the middle of controversy and has managed to blunt any type of criticism in the past even when two members of her star-making group were quickly fired.

As soon as she uttered the words, it was a cringe moment. Watching the Grammys, to hear the words 'The Queen,' the mind goes to Franklin. No disrespect to the woman who blew the roof off the Staples Center, but Turner may be the Queen of pop, but without that clarification, Franklin's feud is clearly warranted.

As Beyonce says, 'give it up for the Queen.'
