Star tries to redeem himself by speaking against hate speech in video.
After his verbal diarrhea defaming homosexuals every way he knew how, the only way Isaiah Washington was able to cling to the last vestige of his career was to agree to film a public service announcement decrying hate speech. This may possibly be to no avail, because the cliffhanger season finale of Grey's Anatomy leaves us wondering is he even lives. But he attempts, nonetheless. In the short, he says that certain words send "a message of hate" -- but this time, unlike at last year's Golden Globe awards, he wisely did not give examples of what those words are, exactly. Washington's fate on Grey's Anatomy, we hear, has yet to be decided.
