Bittersweet moments are part and parcel with The Voice, and there sure were a lot of them tonight.

The most heart-wrenching of this round of blind auditions arguably occurred when David Cassidy's nephew took the stage. He nailed it, of course, but meanwhile, his uncle is unable to do the same due to a recent dementia diagnosis.

It's sad to see his uncle setting aside his touring career, but exciting to witness a new generation of musical talent in the Cassidy family. The Voice contestant's famous grandmother, Shirley Jones (aka Shirley Partridge from The Partridge Family) puts it best: "Now [Jack's] gonna have an incredible career."
