Theories have been flying all summer about who's going to bite the dust in the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead.
But did one of the show's actors already give it away?
Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie on the show, appeared at New York Comic Con this week, and as she delivered a speech about TWD, she became visibly choked up. Now, a lot of fans are speculating that she was so emotional because her character is about to be killed off by Negan, meaning she's leaving the cast.
"You all have been on such a huge journey with us," Cohan said as she started to cry. "Thank you for caring about our show and for getting mad when you don’t know things. This is larger than our lives; this is larger than our show. This is such a privilege. This is such a great thing."
There is still the possibility that, like in the comic book series, Negan is going to kill Glenn. It would account for Cohan's emotion — she and Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn, have spent a ton of time together playing the couple on screen. They must be close, so maybe she got choked up at the thought of losing a close friend on set.
Still, there's evidence supporting the fan theory that Maggie is Negan's victim. As fans have noticed, Cohan hasn't been seen much on set, and her Twitter account hasn't had many mentions of TWD, something that would be expected if she's going to die in the first few minutes of the premiere.
