Brad Pitt's reportedly been 'crying and calling his parents every day'

In the two weeks since Angelina Jolie shocked the world by filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, he's certainly been painted as the villain in the whole situation.

But new reports claiming that Pitt was blindsided by the divorce and that he's taking it super hard may start to sway some people to feeling sorry for him.

Pitt is "beside himself and had been crying," according to a new report from Daily Mail.

"He can’t believe this is what his life has become, and he’s in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he’s hanging onto. He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mom has been talking to him constantly," a source revealed. "Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything. She had threatened divorce in the past, but he did not think she would file this time."

Soon after news broke of the divorce filing, it was revealed that Pitt was being investigated on an alleged claim of child abuse. It's solidly made him the bad guy in a divorce that friends close to the couple say already involves a lot of PR spin.

So hopefully this story could actually be good news for Pitt. Now that the child abuse claims are clearing up (Jolie has even reportedly said she won't cooperate with police if they charge him), he could use some more folks on his side. Divorce is a terrible thing for anyone to go through, and to have to be publicly painted as the villain is a lot to deal with.
