We might as well give Laurie Hernandez the DWTS mirror ball trophy right now

I'm calling it right now: Laurie Hernandez will win Dancing with the Stars Season 23

Laurie Hernandez is blowing her Dancing with the Stars competition out of the water and it's only the second week.

The girl is an Olympic gymnast for goodness sake! So while her advantage coming into the competition is clear, it doesn't really matter because she's also slaying with her stage presence, charm and excitement throughout the show.

No, she didn't have my favorite performance tonight. That went to Allison Holker and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds who made my jaw drop with their absolutely stunning Argentine tango set to The X-Files theme.

But Hernandez and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy were a close second with their energetic jive to DuckTales.

Hernandez is so charming that I even forgave the 16-year-old for not knowing the show DuckTales at all. Killin' me, girl!

She totally got down with her duck-y self though when it came to the dance. Dressed in an adorable red dress complete with a headband and poof balls on her shoes to match, she and Chmerkovskiy — as Scrooge McDuck — waddled all over the stage from money bag to money bag.

They ended the routine by jumping onto a bed covered in “Len Goodman” dollar bills.

"You are Disney’s Beyoncé!" Julianne Hough said as praise for Hernandez.

The duo scored a 32 out of 40. Clearly the judges are just trying to leave some room for improvement throughout the season because there is no doubt Hernandez could already easily be earning 9s and 10s. A girl who brought home gold for her Olympic gymnastic techniques doesn't seem to have any trouble slipping into the DWTS role.

And like I said above, I know it isn't just talent that wins this competition. But her fierce steps don't hurt. It's her winning attitude that really sells it, though. She just seems genuine, and with that bright-eyed, youthful glow, she's going far in this competition.

Is Laurie Hernandez your pick to win Dancing with the Stars Season 23?
