From SheKnows UK

In the early hours of Aug. 31, 1997, Princess Diana died following a serious car crash in Paris. This led to an enormous outpouring of grief across the world, as people struggled to come to terms with the loss of "the people's princess."

Diana's legacy lives on in her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Earlier this year, Harry opened up about losing his mother at the age of 12, saying, "When she died, there was a gaping hole, not just for us, but also for a huge amount of people across the world. If I can try and fill a very small part of that, then job done. I will have to, in a good way, spend the rest of my life trying to fill that void as much as possible. And so will William.”

On the 19th anniversary of Diana's death, we're remembering some of her most inspirational quotes.
