After 3 years of fighting, Bethenny Frankel is finally a free woman

With an official divorce, Bethenny Frankel can move on from most of the negativity in her life

Bethenny Frankel can officially say she has an ex-husband. She and Jason Hoppy have finally reached a divorce settlement three years after initially filing for divorce. What both parties will say is that they couldn't be more excited to move on without the other.

Bernard Clair, Hoppy’s attorney, told People, "Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached. Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter."

In a move that proves Frankel is totally done with all the drama associated with this divorce, her attorney said she had no comment. Speaking to People as well, Allan Mayefsky said, "Out of respect for her privacy and the well-being of her daughter, Bethenny is declining to comment. We can confirm that the divorce has been resolved. Our client is ecstatic that this long chapter is over, and she is looking forward to moving on with her life."

It’s clear that both parties are done fighting. It’s been an exhausting three years that haven’t resulted in much happiness for either of them. Now they have time to focus on their daughter, their new relationships and just not fighting.

Well, at least for Hoppy. Frankel still has her castmates from The Real Housewives of New York to deal with. But at least she’ll have more energy and focus to handle their outbursts. It’s amazing what the end of a bitter legal battle will do for your tolerance for nonsense.

I, for one, am happy for Frankel and Hoppy. I hope this marks the beginning of their new lives full of happiness.
