I can't wait to read what Linda Thompson writes about Caitlyn Jenner

Mckenna is the girl you want on your trivia team for her vast knowledge of early 2000s pop culture. She's an avid YouTube subscriber and loves all things Content Marketing. On occasion she's been known to spontaneously move to a differen...

Linda Thompson's memoir will hopefully be the opposite of anything Kris Jenner has said about Caitlyn

Linda Thompson has the most interesting life, IMO. Her love life alone has stories from Caitlyn Jenner, Elvis Presley and David Foster. But she’s also mom to Brandon and Brody Jenner, which means she’s been a silent observer of the madness that came along with both The Hills and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Thompson is a woman who has a lot to talk about, which is why I’m so excited that she’s finally decided to release a memoir.

The former actress named her book A Little Thing Called Life and promises to talk about the stories from her marriage to Caitlyn (then Bruce) and her five-year relationship with Presley, as well as her careers in songwriting, acting and modeling.

“My personal life has always taken precedence over my professional one without a modicum of regret,” she added. “The fact that we are all human and fallible does not take away anything from the potential for greatness — it simply connects us to each other. From my heart to yours, I share my story.”

I don’t know if it’s because Thompson hasn’t sought the limelight as eagerly as Kris Jenner has, but the way that she talks about Caitlyn (and Presley) just seems so much more genuine and full of love. Where Kris kept quiet, Thompson almost immediately showed her support for Caitlyn during her transition. When Kris played the victim, Thompson celebrated what she knew all along.

I certainly can’t tell anyone how to react to their spouse announcing their transition, but Thompson seemed to do it with a little more grace and kindness. It’s why reading her book will be so much more interesting than if Kris wrote a second memoir. Because when Thompson is writing, you know she’s doing it to make a connection or tell her story, not anything else.
