Gwen Stefani is bound and determined to record a full album with Blake Shelton

Couples who perform together, stay together! Or, at least, that's the plan for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who have enjoyed melding their unique musical styles as of late. Reactions to their new collaboration (which they recently debuted on The Voice) have been mixed, so some fans will probably not be happy to learn that the two plan to continue making sweet, sweet music together. Others, however, are clearly thrilled by the prospect of new and even better collaborations.

During a recent chat with Extra's Renee Bargh, Stefani dished on her new single with her beau, as well as their plans for additional hits in the near future. Based on this interview, Stefani's still a bit shocked by the entire experience; she claimed that her recent performance with Shelton was nothing short of a miracle, explaining, "Just that I got to write a song with him is crazy."

According to Stefani, new music is very special, so she's always excited when she gets to be involved in a brand new song. However, it's even more of a treat when her boyfriend is involved in the process. Her excitement was certainly evident when she performed "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" alongside Shelton — you'd have to be blind not to recognize how smitten Stefani and Shelton are with each other and with their new song.

Stefani has definitely not been satiated by her recent project with Shelton. She wants to continue writing songs and hopes to get back in the studio with Shelton as soon as possible. She told Bargh, "I wanna write some more songs — that’s my favorite thing to do ever." When Bargh suggested that the lovebirds record an entire album together, Stefani responded, "Yes, yes!"

Given Stefani's obvious enthusiasm, it would be a huge surprise if she and Blake didn't release additional singles — and maybe even a full album — including both of their memorable voices. This would certainly be a good thing for The Voice, because they're bound to perform any future hits on the show responsible for their current romance.
