Katy Perry tweets support for Orlando Bloom, despite whatever happened with Selena Gomez

Katy Perry is finally speaking out about those photos of her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, and Selena Gomez looking cozy in a club that surfaced earlier this week, and we're honestly surprised by her reaction.

Bloom and Gomez were spotted hanging out together in a Las Vegas club on Saturday night after Gomez's first concert of her Revival tour. Photos of the pair getting close on a couch surfaced on Tuesday, prompting the question: Did Perry and Bloom break up?

While Gomez and Bloom are clearly sitting close and hugging each other in the leaked photos, it's hard to tell if they're actually kissing. Despite what the photos and reports suggest, we have to wonder, did anything romantic even happen between the two actors that night?

Perry is breaking her silence and setting the record straight on what went down between Bloom and Gomez, as well as where she and Bloom stand.

"Instead of giving energy and eyeballs to dumb conspiracy, check out how cool this is," Perry tweeted, sharing a link to a Time article about Bloom's charity work in eastern Ukraine.

Gomez then retweeted Perry! She also tweeted, "#killemwithkindness — one day they'll get it lol."

These tweets seem to prove Bloom and Perry are definitely still together and nothing scandalous happened between Gomez and Bloom after all.

After the photos were released, Perry stirred the pot by tweeting ambiguous song lyrics and a YouTube link to the 1960s track "Is That All There Is?" Fans were super confused about what she was trying to say.

It appears she was just making light of the photos and saying, "Is that all the proof you've got?"

So, it looks like Bloom and Gomez weren't making out after all, just talking and sitting close in a loud club, probably just so they could hear each other. We know we've been there before!
