Why is everyone making a big deal about Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine’s feud?

It’s not all love and new romance on the set of The Voice. For Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus, it’s actually a battleground. The two have been butting heads the entire season — and it’s not friendly banter the way Levine carries on with Blake Shelton.

Cyrus is a new personality on the panel of judges. For one thing, she’s definitely the youngest judge the show has ever had. She’s got a different point of view and a different way of voicing her opinions to the contestants. It rocks the boat a little bit.

But more than that, Levine and Cyrus don’t get along because they are too similar. An insider of the show’s said, “They both have short attention spans. They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

Sounds like it’s mostly a brother/sister relationship and I’m not sure everyone should be making such a big deal about it.

People can find each other annoying and enjoy antagonizing each other without feuding, especially if they’re celebrities. Levine and Cyrus both have big personalities and are used to being the center of attention. That’s how you become a successful pop star — you demand attention from everyone. When you get more than one of those kinds of people in a room, you’re going to get a few clashes.

Both Levine and Cyrus are too smart to let simple drama ruin their time on The Voice. They’ve probably already forgotten about whatever argument they got in. We all should, too.

One thing’s for sure, though, Christina Aguilera is probably loving the fact that she’s finally not the judge on The Voice causing drama.

What do you think? Is it a real fight or just friendly competition?
