Mob Wives' Drita D'Avanzo doesn't seem too bothered by her recent assault charge

Another one of the Mob Wives stars is making headlines.

But unlike Big Ang's ongoing health problems, Drita D'Avanzo made her problems for herself: According to TMZ, she's been arrested for assault.

According to the gossip site, D'Avanzo was taken into custody Tuesday after she allegedly beat up another woman on a sidewalk in Staten Island. TMZ reportedly has sources in the New York Police Department, who told the site that D'Avanzo got into a "verbal dispute" with the other woman, which apparently got heated and escalated very quickly until D'Avanzo started throwing punches. TMZ reports she landed a few of them.

The site also says that the fight had pretty much worked itself out by the time police arrived on the scene, but D'Avanzo was taken into custody and booked. She was cited with misdemeanor assault, which is a pretty minor charge compared to how things could have gone in that situation.

D'Avanzo seems pretty nonplussed about the whole thing. She hasn't made any public mention about her arrest, and although she's tweeted several times since she was released from police custody, it's been to discuss her jewelry and a makeup party event that she's hosting at her store this weekend.

Meanwhile, fellow Mob Wives star Big Ang just revealed that her cancer has spread and she's fighting it in her brain and lungs. Her family is working on raising money for her treatments, even though Ang reportedly told Radar Online just weeks ago that she was in remission, and her frequent hospital visits were only for routine testing.
