More: Nikki Bella's successful surgery may still keep her away from the ring

Former Divas champion Bella underwent neck surgery last week to fuse disks in her spine. Following the procedure, she's been keeping her fans updated on her progress via Instagram, where she posted a sweet shot Monday of herself in her neck brace, cuddling her adorable dog.

"Always looking after Mommy," she captioned the shot, along with heart and dog emojis and "#babywinston."

It's not the first update Bella has posted for her fans on social media since the successful surgery.

"Surgery was a success! Dr Uribe is a miracle Doctor! Already feeling more like me today," she wrote Thursday on a photo showing her in her hospital bed, surrounded by flowers and balloons, giving a thumbs-up to the camera. "Thank you all for your love and support! Your prayers were definitely heard! #stayfearless #fearlessnikki"

More: Brie Bella's wrestling career will be over sooner than you think

Bella will be laid up for at least three months, she recently told E! News. She'll be in her neck brace and completely unable to travel for at least that long, and it could be six months before she's able to remove the brace.

"I can barely be in the car because of the spot where my injury is," she told the site. "I have to try as much as I can not to move my neck, so it can heal."

But recovery isn't stopping Bella from making plans for the future. It's still unknown whether she'll be able to return to the WWE, but she plans to stay in shape as she recovers.

"Can't wait till I can do arm weights and squats with no bar or weights," she wrote to her followers. "I won't let this injury get me lazy or out of shape! If anything I'm going to be in the best shape of my life!! Just call me Superwoman."
