From fans posting pictures of their faces with Ziggy Stardust makeup to celebrities paying tribute to the icon, it’s clear David Bowie was loved and will be missed.

On hearing that David Bowie had passed, Canadian DJ and producer Paul Murphy, who goes by Skratch Bastid, decided to perform a tribute to the late artist as well.

“Lots can be said & written to eulogize prolific artists like him, but I think the most appropriate way for a DJ to celebrate my favourite artists is by sharing their music,” Murphy wrote.

In a video he posted to Facebook, Murphy is seen playing one of Bowie’s biggest hits, "Let’s Dance," mixing two copies of the track into each other.

“Just having some fun with a dancefloor smash that has always been a favourite,” he added.

The video has almost 8.5 million views and over 100,000 shares.
