Juan Pablo Galavis' loss is another man's gain as Nikki Ferrell gets a proposal

Nikki Ferrell will finally see what it's like to land a good guy — The Bachelor alum is engaged.

Ferrell got stuck with cad Juan Pablo Galavis during the weirdest season of the show yet, only to see the relationship fizzle out after he refused to say he loved her on national TV.

But now it looks like she will really walk down the aisle, and with the person she probably should have been with all along.

Ferrell announced her engagement to longtime friend Tyler Vanloo on her Instagram page with photos taken at the exact moment of his proposal.

"And on the last day of vacation this happened!" she wrote. "I can't wait to marry my best friend. Over the moon happy right now!"

Ferrell and Vanloo rang in the new year with a fun Colorado ski vacation.

Hopefully, Vanloo is a better fit than Galavis, whose Hollywood lifestyle did not mesh well with Ferrell's more down-to-earth approach to life.

"It's not from a lack of trying on either side. I tried really hard, and he tried too," she told Bachelor host Chris Harrison before Season 19. "I'm not a quitter. I tried everything, he tried, too. It wasn't just a one-side[d] thing… we real-life tried, not TV-tried.

"He lives in Miami and he's in the entertainment industry, and that's his job and his lifestyle. It was really hard for me to fit into that. At the end of the day we gave it a go, but we're just two different people."

Better luck to the new happy couple!
