Empire's Taraji P. Henson may be getting her groove back with a new man

Looks like Cookie may be getting some nookie!

Empire star Taraji P. Henson was seen holding hands with NFL player Kelvin Hayden while on vacation in Miami.

The couple held hands while walking on the white sandy beach. Henson is wearing an Emilio Pucci bikini with matching shorts, long braids, chic sunglasses and a Chanel handbag. Her man is wearing a backward baseball cap, red shorts and the best accessory of all: six-pack abs.

Hayden has played for the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, so I guess the abs are an occupational plus. At 32, he's also 13 years younger than Henson.

Henson talked to Harper's Bazaar about being single and what she's looking for in a man.

"He is funny, has personality; He doesn't take himself too seriously," she said. "He needs to be confident in who he is, confident to let me be who I am. And let me shine, you know? My life is only going to enhance his light."

She forgot to mention the abs.

This is definitely one way for Henson to get her groove back and keep her Miami vacation spicy.

It tops what was already a good day for her. USA Today named her Entertainer of the Year on Monday. She was chosen for her portrayal of Cookie Lyon, a convicted felon with killer one-liners.

"Life has changed for me dramatically. Who thought Cookie would bring me this kind of notoriety? This is the type of character that people judge — she went to jail, she sold drugs. But what happens? (People) run to her? Blows me away every time. That goes to show people like real."

Yes, we like real, and we really like you, Taraji P. Henson!
