If (and, let's be honest, when) she survives this thing with Iris and Liz Taylor, she has a lot of other matters we hope the show explores.
So far we've only seen the fetus hidden in the shadows, but what exactly does The Countess (Lady Gaga) expect to happen with him? Is she just going to keep her immortal premie forever? There is still a lot of light that needs to be shed on that situation.
Right now it seems that John and Alex are very much on their way to living happily ever after as a super-messed-up family. But we can't imagine The Countess will just let her claws out of Alex and Holden so easily.
She already announced that she never wants to see him again, but he is part of the hotel, so unless she's going to leave The Cortez, she's kind of stuck with him. It will be interesting to see if and how they officially call it quits for good.
Right now Ramona's very hungry and probably very annoyed with all those little infested children. We have yet to really see Ramona and The Countess come face to face and it's a scene I'm personally hoping is on its way.
Is it bad that I'm still secretly rooting for The Countess and Donovan to make it? They could have the most messed-up but genuine love story in the history of television. I kind of see this great Romeo and Juliet ending for them, giving up immortality in one another's arms. But, hey, I'm a hopeless romantic like that.
This goes back to my ideas of hopeless romanticism, but I think there is the potential there for The Countess and Liz Taylor to call a truce after her spray of bullets. They are, after all, so much fun to watch together.
Or losing it, as the case may be. It seems to me that there is no way The Countess' master plan for wealth is going to work out as smoothly as she envisioned. Plus, now that we know Will Drake is a ghost, it will be interesting to see how he tries to foil her plans.
