The proud mama took to the Dillard Family website to share some updates on their mission trip as well as some new tricks Israel has learned in the past few days.
"Israel has been busy this week showing us new tricks!" Jill wrote. "Every day for the last three days he has learned something new! First it was clapping, then crawling, pulling up into a standing position and waving! He is about to cut his first two teeth, so recently he has been a little fussier than normal. He is usually happy though and loves exploring new areas in the house now that he can move!"
Jill also shared that her husband, Derick Dillard, was also having some trouble with his teeth.
"Derick was able to find a dentist who could fix an orthodontic piece that broke off," she included in one of her family "praises."
Though the couple moved to Central America in July, they have returned to the United States multiple times for family events over the past few months. They attended a family friend's wedding in August as well as their cousin Amy Duggar's wedding in September.
But the Dillards returned to Central America in October where they confirmed they will be staying until summer 2016.
That means baby Israel has yet to meet his new cousin Spurgeon Elliot Seewald in person, though new parents Jessa and Ben Seewald reportedly introduced the little guy to the Dillards via FaceTime.
And just because the Dillards are busy abroad doesn't mean we won't still be seeing their faces here in the States.
The family will appear in the TLC special Jill & Jessa: Counting On, which will premiere on Dec. 13 on TLC.
