The reality star took to her Instagram with a lengthy post to clear up some pesky rumors that claimed her love of waist training caused her ministroke.

Good morning!!!! You guys know I love my @nowaistclique waist trainer, I have heard all sorts of ppl commenting on "what might have caused my mini stroke" let me be real clear, I am a very healthy woman who takes great care of myself, however I was born with PFO (a hole in my heart) which enabled a clot to cross over and stop oxygen to my brain for a very short time in turn causing me to have a TIA, I will be having heart surgery to repair it. By no means did my waist trainer cause my blood clot or my TIA. I would never use anything nor promote anything that I personally didn't love or something that was dangerous. I LOVE LIFE WAY TOO MUCH! and I have a whole lotta living to do #KeepItTight #Hourglass #CommentRudeIBlockYou #HeartAwareness #THANKYOUFORALLYOURPRAYERS

"Good morning!!!!" she captioned the post, "You guys know I love my @nowaistclique waist trainer, I have heard all sorts of ppl commenting on 'what might have caused my mini stroke' let me be real clear, I am a very healthy woman who takes great care of myself, however I was born with PFO (a hole in my heart) which enabled a clot to cross over and stop oxygen to my brain for a very short time in turn causing me to have a TIA, I will be having heart surgery to repair it."

She adds, "By no means did my waist trainer cause my blood clot or my TIA. I would never use anything nor promote anything that I personally didn't love or something that was dangerous. I LOVE LIFE WAY TOO MUCH! and I have a whole lotta living to do. #KeepItTight #Hourglass #CommentRudeIBlockYou #HeartAwareness #THANKYOUFORALLYOURPRAYERS"

In other words, expect the waist training promotion to continue in full force.

And while Zolciak's Instagrammers may be satisfied that the stroke wasn't caused by her love of waist training, they definitely aren't convinced it's safe.

"You're beautiful and while the waist trainer didn't cause your stroke just be careful with this," one commenter wrote. "It puts a lot of pressure on your internal organs that can result in organ damage/failure."

Others were harsher. "Botox, waist trainer, shakes, plastic surgery, I'm sure one or more had something to do with it also," one commenter wrote.

Still another added, "just because it didn't cause your stroke does NOT make it healthy. It is not a permanent fix either, the effects of using one only last for a couple hours. Dont' [sic] worry I will unfollow you myself, I don't believe in people promoting unhealthy lifestyles. You should know better with a medical background."

Meanwhile, Zolciak is focusing on her health right now after leaving Dancing With the Stars Season 21 because of her ministroke.

She told E! News earlier this month, "It literally happened in a second and my whole life changed."

Do you think waist training is as safe as Kim Zolciak claims?
